Review: Traumatised and still struggling to come to terms with an appalling family tragedy, the American graduate student, Dani, turns to her self-centred and distant boyfriend, Christian, against the backdrop of an inescapable break-up. In high hopes of repairing their disintegrating relationship, Dani tags along with two of Christian's fellow students and their cryptic Swedish friend, Pelle, to attend a once-every-ninety-years summer solstice festival at an isolated pagan commune in rural Sweden. Now, for the first time in a long while, Dani feels happy; however--in this friendly and verdant haven of peace, harmony, and constant sunshine--the welcoming community's peculiar traditions start to blemish the folkloric utopia, allowing the uncomfortable feeling of uneasiness to creep up on Dani and her friends. For the love of god DONT GO THERE. Also in the beginning when Dani is in her bed just after her family dies there is a painting of a girl touching the noise of a bear. foreshadowing the end. Like you said in the video every piece of art in the movie tells the movies story.

I didn't know that this persective wasn't as mainstream
Before going to see Midsommar: well it cant get worse that Hereditary After watching it: welp I was wrong, It was worse. It's been a week and I still cant get it out of my head, it was so disturbing and alot of the time I was like what the f- but it was a good movie nervously laughs. Midsommar comes to a peaceful resolution that is rarely seen in horror movies, where we know for a fact that Dani is safe from the evils that brought her down to begin with, death be damned. Because at the end of the day, what truly matters to her is finding the happiness she's been sorely missing. I respect the sheer effort and insight you put into your videos, but it's like we watched two totally different Midsommars. I can't think of a more incorrect take-away from this film than this. It's also a very dangerous way to view real life.
Homie had the worst post nut clarity moment in the history of mankind. It did a good job of emulating the experience of “hallucinating”. I hope more films will follow in its footsteps. Yeah this movie had me hooked until they drug, coerce, bully and sexually assault Christian. only to frame him as the bad guy. W a t yknow? It has so much potential as an idea but the second half of the movie is so ridiculous. Tbf so is her sisters over the top murder suicide review is 👌. Walking out of the theater at 1 am after seeing this movie made me paranoid af. But I loved the film, and now I know exactly what scene they were talking about.
From my point of view they got what their heart asked. That's the truth. For me, it is not about gore or death. It is about relief. You had me at “director of Hereditary”. Ok ok, there were some sins I agreed with and some I didnt, but you have to understand, that Charlie. is Paimon. And that blue light thing is Charlie/Paimon. Also the last sin and the second last sin go hand and hand. Watch Midsommar movie subtitle.
I just noticed that her smile at the end resembles the smile on the sun in the “painting” that is shown at the VERY beginning of the film. Okay, the best scene in this movie is when Christian asked the old guy whats going on, and the old guy just clapped in his face, and Christian started to cry. Lmao.
Some of these sins were just straight up dumb. like the minute of Annie crying was raw emotion, i thought it was the perfect mix of guilt, anxiety, and fear. I watched a movie but I was a kid so I cant do it look at the report. I got excited when I saw Director of HEREDITARY, and after watching the full trailer I'm hyped. Can't wait for this to release. The other outsiders were like Pelle. They were on Pilgramage. But Pelle and his brother were tasked to bring the sacrifices. Pelle hoped Dani would stay because he liked her.
All of those things happen they way they do because its HEREDITARY. thats the point lol. Creepiest movie I have ever seen. I am a huge horror fan. I could be watching this scene a thousand times and I would never get tired of it. Could have known before going to watch it with my whole family. There's a reason why they named the guy who must die christian. I honnestly disagree with you. I think the main interest from this movie is the atmosphere that it releases. I liked it, it's odd and is obvioulsy a criticism of the SJW state of mind. Nobody wanted to see this guy burn. I hope so. Not every movie fits exactly the hero's journey plot.
